We hit 0 degrees early this morning so outside is an autumn delight: red and gold leaves, chrystal clear blue sky and wisps of melting frost.
Wearing:
Long pj's and cardigans. The girls have pulled out snow coats, gloves and beanies 😊 going shopping today for winter Pj's for the kids, stockings and trackies. Winter is on its way!
Reading:
I've returned to Harry Potter, having a break from M.C. Beaton (which I've really loved), am now nearly finished The Prisoner of Azkaban. Tried to watch The Chamber of Secrets last night but fell asleep😜 Nico is reading the 13 storey treehouse series and the How To Train Your Dragon series, and loving them both. I'm so happy with how well he's reading. Gaby is enjoying Spanish stories (she's learning Spanish at pre school) and is really keen to be able to read herself.
In the kitchen:
This morning Xav's made hot chocolate for the kids to have with their hot cross buns. A big hot! Homemade pizza last night. Yum!!
Thinking about:
Gran in hospital with three fractured ribs and slow heart beat. Praying for a full recovery and looking forward to visiting her soon.
Dash. Poor thing has infected nail beds again and needs antibiotics and painkillers. Spent the night inside which she HATED!
